Do you ever try to do any projects or crafting whilst mom-ing?

I do.

I love projects!

My kids don’t always love mommy trying to do projects. And other times they love it so much that they want to help mommy. Yay for helpful toddlers…

Trying to paint anything with the kids around means I need to get all of my supplies out in one go. Work quickly. Put things up HIGH to dry. And when I’m all done clean up all painting tools immediately.

If I don’t clean up, or walk away from my project to grab something I forgot, I am likely to come back to paint covered hands, walls, table, chairs, the project…

“But mom! I was helping you put paint on it!”

“I didn’t want paint in that spot, in that way.”

“Why not?!”

“Because……”

Kids are fun.

I recently had to paint over one of the kid’s rooms. The whole time I kept thinking one of the kids was going to get in there and come out covered head to toe in white primer. And then like roll around on the carpet, because…kid logic.

“Look mommy! Snow angels!”

Luckily, I managed to finish it quickly and painlessly!

But the stress was real.

Well, there you have it, it’s been just another Manic Mom-day!

      1. You sound like an amazing Mom! I sincerely doubt they’ll tire of doing things with you. It maybe that you might have to bend a little in a different direction. But wouldn’t it be worth it?

Thank you for inspiring my heart. Your posts resonate. 😊
