If you have kids, you and your spouse have probably spent a Valentine’s day
or two or three or six at home.
Nothing says how much you love your significant other like going through your day as normal. Changing diapers, stepping on toys, picking up toys, stepping on toys again, doing laundry, doing dishes, all that fun stuff.
AND if you try to do some of those at home date nights you are likely to be interrupted. A thousand times.
I need water.
I need to go to the bathroom.
There’s a vampire in my room.
It’s too dark.
My door is shut too much.
Bear is making too much noise.
I can’t find my unicorn.
Can you read me one more book?
I didn’t get enough snuggles.
The list is endless. Or at least it sure seems endless.
So, your nice romantic dinner and a movie or game night or whatever it may be is chaotic and anything but relaxing.
But at least you’re in it together?! Right?!
Well, there you have it, it’s been just another Manic Mom-day!
What are your Valentine’s day plans?! Are you getting a babysitter or fighting through a stay at home date night?!
