{manic mom-days}

{working from home}

I’m doing something fun again!

Another guest post from another amazing mom I know!

She is here to talk about how some days she has to work from home. And how sometimes this is no easy task!

When I was first asked to write a guest post on blissfully creating, I was really excited – then really nervous. What do I have to say that is relevant or read-worthy?! But I think I found a topic that a lot of moms can relate – working from home. I’m so thankful that I have a job that allows me the flexibility to work from home sometimes, but yikes – kids make it a challenge! Even if you don’t work, I’m sure you can relate to aspects of it…

Like, trying to do anything on a computer without a kid climbing all over you.

Whenever I do work from home (I do work full time outside of the home but occasionally have a need to work from home) when my son is home as well, my little guy gets a little confused – ‘when Mom is home, she’s supposed to be playing with ME!’

So when Mommy says that she has to do work, he doesn’t always react the best way.

Plus any time I have my computer out, he thinks he needs to hit all the keys. Or he wants to watch videos (because that’s what all electronics are for, right?!).

It doesn’t even matter that my husband is home too; kids have a “fun” way of always wanting the parent that they can’t have at that moment. Luckily, we always find a way to *work* through the day and create balance between motherhood and work.

Well, there you have it, it’s been just another Manic Mom-day!

Do you work from home?!

Do you like guest posts?!
