*These things are optional; but they made it look so pretty and organized and your OCD side will thank you! No? Just me? OK, moving on then…

{quick crafts with BC} step one

I painted the wooden letters the little’s favorite colors. Purple for Little Miss and blue for Cuddle Bug.

While they were drying I heated up the hot glue gun and was ready to stick the letters to the outside of the shower caddies. This way when they are in the cupboard they can easily see which caddy belongs to them.

{quick crafts with BC} step two

With the letter secured it is time to prepare your containers! To create more organization within the caddy I added some cups, soap containers, and a toothbrush container.

I put three cups on one side of the caddy.

Then, on the other side, I put four travel soap containers and one travel toothbrush holder.

Doesn’t colorful organization just make your heart happy?!

{quick crafts with BC} step three

I sorted through my crazy stock pile of craft supplies and decided to use the three cups for the following craft supplies:

I thought putting the paint in a cup meant it could double as the water cup when it comes time to paint! This way they don’t have to ask mom to get them their cup and water. It is all right there!

For the travel containers I decided to fill them with the following craft supplies:

Then for the travel toothbrush holder I sharpened a couple pencils and put them inside.

The cups and travel containers are not necessary; but they definitely help keep things in their place.

We will see if that lasts once the littles get at them…

{quick crafts with BC} step four

I took some giant sheets of paper that my mom gave me boxes and boxes of and cut them down to 5×7 rectangles.

I cut up A LOT!

I do not plan on keeping all of the paper in their caddies; but I cut a bunch up so that I am not doing it on a weekly basis.

{quick crafts with BC} step five

I rounded up all of the supplies and filled the craft time caddy to the brim!

I threw in a glue stick and some memo pads as well! And will get some scissors eventually too.

Added bonus:  with a bit of tweaking on supplies, you can easily make this a road trip craft time caddy!

Doesn’t it just make you want to do all the crafts?!

This mom is so prepared for the summertime boredom!

I plan on restocking it weekly, or twice a week depending on how crafty they are feeling!

What are your little’s favorite craft supplies?! Do you think this will make craft time so much easier?! Will you make one for your little?!
